    The art of Le Ricochet

Elodie met three days ago , as she and her friend Miranda hitchhiking waiting at the gates of Kakadu National Park, in northern Australia , for someone to pick the car and carry to see the park . Since then we have been together .

We rode around the park , we celebrate Christmas together , swam in Florence Falls and even sushi made from four while we were staying in a hostel in Darwin.

And while we lived many adventures with our new friends, someone suggested making a ” exquisite corpse .” Fold a piece of paper into several parts, and each person draws on a strip of paper , unable to see what others have drawn before or after him. The result is always something absurd and meaningless.
But opening our sheet , I was stunned with the drawings of ElodieThey were awesome!

And then he showed us his sketchbook : a little book of rings covered with red paper and not very thick watercolor. Full of wonderful drawings , landscapes of Australia , sketches of sleeping girls, colorful animal and ink drawings . But best of all were the comics, all of no more than one page and amusing stories of everyday life . All signed under her stage name , ” Le Ricochet ” .

Elodie got the money to come to Australia through a crowfounding project entitled ” L’ Echo du bush ” by asking what people money to live enough experiences in the southern lands to be able to make a compilation of drawings and illustrated stories . I had the honor of seeing some of the designs that Elodie has been doing, and are incredible .

I leave here some of his drawings , taken from their website ( All in French …She’s from Switzerland! ) . If you like one , you can contact her through her e- mail edermange@hotmail.fr to be able to have an original piece , and help this little adventurous to continue to fulfill his dream.
